| Abstract: | Biological availability of iron and manganese in some selected soils of Saudi Arabia was studied and the main results revealed the following: an interaction effect upon the addition of iron and manganese with a certain concentration. Significant response of iron uptake due to the addition of iron or manganese incorporated with dry matter of alfalfa, or due to the addition of Fe-EDTA or Mn-EDTA, but no significant response of Mn uptake, a tendency of fixation and release of iron manganese upon subjecting the soil samples to wetting and drying cycles. |
