| Abstract: | Wireless networked embedded systems are becoming increasingly important in a wide area of technical fields. Remote control over wireless network will introduce time-varying delays for the transmission of sensor and control data over the wireless network. It is known that time-delay degrades the control systemís performance and even causes instability. We present in this work how to increase the tracking performance of wireless networked control system WNCS where the feedback control loop is closed over a wireless network. To overcome the problem induced by the transmission, a compensator is designed and added to the controller. Thus, the controller uses fresh data for control calculation. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed control algorithm. |
