| Abstract: | One of the most valuable assets to any economy is its population. A well educated population where educational programs and strategies are implemented based on well formed decisions can go a long way in achieving the desired goals. In the current information economy these types of decisions can be easily derived based on the great wealth of information available to us, even though it may be distributed and not easily located in one place. In this paper we propose the development of a national data warehousing system that integrates students data across all levels of education. A number of decision support and web-based applications are also proposed that aim to improve the decision making capabilities of decision makers as well as the provision of valuable transactional and decision support aids to the students themselves. |
