Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the compressive, flexural strength and surface hardness of five compomers material (Compoglass-F, Dyract AP, Hytac, Elan and F-2000). Five specimens from each material were prepared and stored in de-ionized water for 24 hours. Compressive and flexural strength were tested by instron machine, Vicker test was used for surface hardness. The results showed that the highest compressive strength value was for Dyract AP, followed by compoglass-F, and the lowest value was for Hytac, flexural strength and surface hardness values indicated that compoglass-F was the highest among other tested materials. Hytac showed also lowest flexural strength value, while F-2000 showed the lowest surface hardness VHV. It was concluded from this study that Compoglass-F had the highest value for flexural strength and surface hardness among other compomers group. Thus, it can be considered that compoglass-F belong to composite resin group rather than compomer
