| Abstract: | Terrorism is a universal phenomenon, without a nationality or religion. It has become a major threat to world peace and the stability of all nations. Terrorism is not a new phenomenon. It is estimated that there are 370 terrorist organizations in the world living in 120 countries.
I tried to analyze different factors that produce terrorism from a Macro sociological perspective . I found out that there are international and national factors that create this phenomenon such as : The end of the Cold War , Palestine, Afghanistan , Fanaticism, poverty and deprivation, unemployment , lack of democracy, an education.
Finally, I can say that Islam is not responsible for terrorism. injustice, deprivation, disrespect to human rights, intolerance , fanaticism , lack of democracy, the use of force against weak countries, interference in internal affairs of other countries, and exercise of violence and suppression to people are responsible for terrorism. |
