| Abstract: | The paper is structured as follows: Section two introduces OT’s formalisation of the basic stress principles of Boundedness, Headedness, Weight-sensitivity, Extrametricality, and Directionality. In section three, the analysis is divided into two subsections, quantity-sensitive and quantity-insensitive (or default) stress patterns. Finally, section four presents the concluding remarks. |
