Abstract: New cobalt(ll). nickel(l1). palladium(ll). platinum( 11). and cadmium(ll ) complexes of a Schiff base ligand [HAMT] formed by condensation of N-acctylniorpholine with S-benzyldiithiocarbazate. have been synthesized ant1 charactcrized by elemental analysis. spectral [IR,UV-vis . '11-NMR and 13C-NMR] measurements. and thermal analysis [TG. DTG and DTA]. The spectral data show that the ligand behaves as neutral or mononegative bidentate manner.
