| Abstract: | Dental school administrators ought to make decisions concerning the assignment of faculty members
to departments based upon actual teaching load for each department. This study offers a method to
quantify an equitable teaching load among dental faculty, hence, among departments. Actual load in
clock hours was computed for all four departments at King Saud University College of Dentistry.
Results showed that while some departments are reasonably loaded, others have a teaching load
that is heavier or lighter than the equitable work load figure. |
