| Abstract: | The plants root zone is determined by the pattern of water infil tration spread from a clay jar 01' a continuous underground irrigation system. An equation which was originall:j. developed to describe the infi1 tration spread in drip irriga.tion was found: in its general form to be applicable to the clay jar underground irrigation system. This experimental study was devoted to determine the parameters of this equation to calcul¬ate the radius of infiltration at any time in any direction. |
