Title: Fusarium spp. Associated with Date-Palm wilt Disease in the Central Region of Saudi Arabia

Abstract: In the last years, Fusarium spp. were found to be associated with diseased date-palm samples. These samples were collected from different parts of the date-palm trees showing bayoud like symptoms that were grown in different areas in the central region of Saudi Arabia [ Al-Kharj, Buaibiat, Deraiah, Gassim, Hair, Hotta bani tameem, Majmaah, and Olishah ]. The symptoms consisted of one sided brown discoloration on the rachis with brown discoloration of the tissues in the oblique cuts. The identified Fusarium species were : F. moniliforme, F. solani and one isolate which look like F. subglutinans.
