Title: Pesticidal Treatment Deteriorated the Plant Inherent-Resistance to Pathogenic Fungi

Abstract: Field applications of certain pesticides, with their out-of doses or even out-of time caused pronounced deterioration in the plant inherent resistance to certain pathogenic fungi. To specify the treatments cause such effects, experiments were conducted on potted-soil previously inoculated with Fusarium moniliforme spore-suspension, and on non-inoculated soil as well. Corn ( Zea mays L. ) Hybrids Santana was, seeded and series of concentrations of the tested pesticides were then added to the soil surface and irrigated. It was found that, inherent-resistance of the seedling to the infection, started to fail at doses, very close to the field recommended doses of the tested pesticides, and the previous inoculation with the pathogenic fungi increased the deteriorating effect of the pesticides to the inherent-resistance of plants to the pathogenic fungi.
